Human Capital Metrics:
The Impact of HR Programs on Business Results

Workshop Presented by Gail Evans, The Wynford Group

Gail will share the results of the groundbreaking Wynford Group Human Capital Metrics study of over 40 major Canadian organizations. The Causal Model developed from this study is a predictive tool that identifies the effectiveness and Return on Investment (ROI) of various HR programs to guide future HR investment to maximize the strategic impact in your organization.

This study can be used to support HR initiatives within your organizations using the quantitative results that will get attention at the Executive table. With the increased pressure on organizational performance and focus on supporting core business drivers and results, Human Capital Metrics and the Causal Model in particular, can be used to identify areas of opportunity for increased value creation by employing Human Capital more effectively. The results of this unique Canadian study have already been used successfully to gain support for HR initiatives at major Canadian companies. Finally, a scientifically based process for illustrating the value added by Human Resources programs and functions.

In addition to explaining the recent study results and the implications for organizations right now, Gail Evans will provide some case study examples of how this can be applied as well as providing the opportunity for interactive discussion within groups.
